Meet the team
Lana Van den Acker
LV Agency
After studying legal practice, Lana began her career in 2016 at a bank, where her interest in insurance quickly took root.
Between 2018 and 2021, she worked at an IT company where she collaborated closely with freelancers, gaining valuable insight into their specific needs and risks.
In 2021, she became self-employed herself, working with the independent insurance office KMO-Assur.
Her focus lies on non-life insurance: professional liability, hospitalization insurance, car insurance…
David Bogaerts
D&K Life
David entered the financial sector in 2005 as a financial advisor. He later specialised in financial planning, working his way up to senior financial planner.
Since 2014, he has been working independently as a life insurance broker, focusing exclusively on pension planning, investment solutions and death cover.
By combining their expertise, Lana and David provide more than just standard coverage — they deliver custom-built solutions that match the reality of freelance life. They work with multiple insurers and always aim for the best price-quality balance.
